Overview
Context
I did this Squarespace website design as a quick practice project while I was in between clients. I wanted to take a serious subject (such as investment) and give it a unique look while maintaining a serious and professional tone. It also provided me with more practice in logo design.

Logo Design
Shape psychology:
Squares are associated with strength, efficiency, and professionalism.
On its side, the square resembles a diamond, signifying wealth.
The line cut-outs create two checkmark shapes, which signify success.
Font choice:
New York is a timeless serif font that is both professional and stylish.

Key considerations:
Colour psychology: I chose dark blue because it is associated with trustworthiness and reliability, which are important for an area like investment.
Shape psychology: Square shapes are associated with strength and professionalism, so I used sharp corners on buttons and images rather than rounded corners (which are more ideal creating a friendly, casual tone).
Social proof: Credentials boxes near the top of the page and a logo bar increase trust.
